Marian-Dingdong’s concert vs Kchard’s For the First Time

Dingdong Dantes and Marian Rivera’s concert “Let’s Celebrate” was announced to happen on the same date as Richard Guttierez and KC Concepcion’s first movie “For the First Time”. Some fans are making a big deal out of this. Is GMA withdrawing its support by launching the concert on the same date as Star Cinema’s movie? Does this mean that they are not supporting Richard Guttierez anymore because of this move?

Or is this just a bad case of coincidence?

If it’s really not that big of a deal, why are Annabelle Rama and Sharon Cuneta so affected by this issue? This is an excerpt from last Sunday’s show, “Sharon” –

Annabelle: Hindi ako nagagalit. Pero ngayon kasi, parang imposible namang Wednesday, Araneta, Wednesday? ‘Tapos ano ba yun, the same date, e, tapos na yung birthday nung dalawa [Dingdong and Marian]. Bakit hindi na lang sa 12, 13, 14, 15, 16? Bakit kailangang 27?

Sharon: Ako rin. Seriously, na-affect ako nun. Kasi feeling ko, ‘Ha, akala ko support each other.’ Also ano ‘yan, e, ang next project nila dun din. ‘Tsaka anak ko ito.

First, she claims that she was sexually abused when she was 14 years old then she shaves her head. Now, it is rumored that she has been playing too much in casinos. This is a far cry from the image she portrayed as Lovi Poe’s mother in “Kaputol ng Isang Awit”. She looked very helpless and demure in the series which proves that she is a good actress.
